The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is in plans to set up a 24 by 7 call center according to confirmed sources. The idea is to bridge the communication gap between students or parents and CBSE. CBSE is a key player in the Country which conducts Class X, XII exams and entrance exams like AIEEE, AIPMT, CTET etc.
We did discuss this recently in our previous post, why it is essential for an organization like CBSE to set up a call center. Call it coincidence or what ever CBSE has taken it; students or parents can now rely on the call center support desk to gain access to information related to Schools, Entrance Exams and other key information.
CBSE is likely to announce the proposed call center details by 15 February 2012 according to sources. This is a much awaited move from CBSE; students and parents are more worried as the application filling process has been made completely online for AIEEE & AIPMT from this year. It is possible to commit mistakes before clicking the submit, AIPMT 2012 application forms doesn’t have an edit option. The same happened with AIEEE 2012 forms as well but CBSE did give a chance to students by allowing them to correct the details online and asked to submit the new confirmation slips.
Few other cases are related to online payment; cash gets debited but the application system doesn’t show it. Hopefully all such things can be handled by the Call Center support. What do you say? Leave your comments..
